1. Natural hot springs
Getting into hot springs, called onsen in Japanese, is great way to relax after work and feel a natural sense of healing. In Kyoto, there are a lot of natural hot springs. These 4 are popular hot springs that you can easily visit (all facilities allow people with tattoos):
A) Chikara-no-Yu
Ø About the hot spring
There are approximately 10 kinds of hot spring here, and 3 sauna baths, to help you relax in many ways. The open-air bath and the sauna baths in particular are very attractive, so you can have fun while taking your bath.

This onsen comes from a source that begins to spring out 1000 meters below ground. This spring is said to have medical properties, and it isbelieved that it heals various kinds of sickness.

Hana-no-Yu’s “Rock-Onsen” and “Pot-Onsen” are bothnatural open-air baths known as “Hot Springs of Beauty,” which are said to make your skin soft and smooth.
There are also various other types of baths, so please try all of them.

2. Sightseeing
Even during the nighttime, the Kyoto is full of beautiful scenery. After the sun goes down, the city of Kyoto is illuminated, and shows you wonderful qualities different from its daytime self. The following are places to visit during the evening:
A) Kyoto Station
Kyoto Station has two night-view spots: Sky-Walk and Sky-Plaza. Even though they are free, the views are spectacular. Both of them provide one of the best views of Kyoto in the city. From Sky-Walk, you can see Kyoto-Tower as well.
B) Hanami-Koji Dori
The best place to see Geisha in Kyoto is Hanami-Koji Dori. You may be able to meet one in the early-evening. After sunset, the area is lit up and you can sense the elegant taste of traditional Kyoto. You can reach Hanami-Koji Dori in 5 minutes on foot from Gion-Shijo or Kawaramachi Stations.
C) Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine
This shrine is famous for its thousands of torii gates lining its path. Of course it’s beautiful during the daytime, but it’s also attractive and worth visiting at night, when you can experience a mysterious and magical atmosphere.
You reach the shrine in 5 minutes on foot from Inari Station (JR) or Fushimi Inari Station (Keihan Line).
3. Sightseeing by bicycle
The city of Kyoto is good for cycling with its well-maintained roads and flat ground, so a bicycle can make your trip very convenient for exploring the city. At nighttime in particular, you can sightsee and exercise comfortably by bicycle because the city becomes calm. These bicycle rental shops to rent bicycles are easy to access:

4. Bar and Pub
