Interview
How do you like Fushimi Inari?
I enjoy it. I like the outdoor, the commerce, the street food, the smells... I like it because they have anime.
Why did you come to Fushimi Inari shrine?
Because you have to. You're in Kyoto. (laughs) It's what the guide book says to do, so...
What is your favorite part of Kyoto?
My favorite part is probably the gracefulness, the peaceful[ness]. People are happy to serve, people have smiles on their faces. Um, I like it because everybody's really nice here, and that's... (giggles) It's pretty easy to get around, too, I mean, the language barrier is not a problem when you're trying to get around.
Would you recommend Kyoto to your friends and family?
Yeah. Yes.
What is your favorite food in Japan?
Sushi and ramen. Ramen.
