How do you like Kiyomizu-dera?

It's really beautiful up there. It's a spectacular view. I really liked it a lot.

Why did you come to Kiyomizu-dera?

I mean, it's on top of all the tourist lists, I think, and it's supposed to be spectacular and obviously it is. So I think it's sort of a must-do.

Have you been anywhere else in Japan?

Just Tokyo. I've only been here for five days. So I went to Tokyo then I came to Kyoto two nights ago.

What do you think of Kyoto?

Kyoto is my favorite city so far that I've ever been to. The people are so friendly, and they're very polite and they're just willing to help. I've been helped out so many more times than I would have anywhere else on the planet, just because I have no idea what I'm doing. It's beautiful and there are temples everywhere, which I love, so it's just a really nice place.
