How do you like Arashiyama?

It's really beautiful. Nice scenery. And nice weather as well today.

Why did you come to Arashiyama?

So she went here several times before I heard that it's a really nice place so we wanted to explore Kyoto. And as the weather was nice, we came here. And we are going to the bamboo forest as well and some temples around here.

Have you been anywhere else in Japan?

You've been here for a short time. I've been around Kansai area and Okinawa and then Tokyo, Kyushu, several places. For me, only Kyoto so far. And then Yasaka shrine and the philosopher's walk, the imperial palace, typical attractions.

As students in Japan, what are you studying?

I'm doing a PhD program here in Kyoto. Global resource management. And I am an exchange [student] so for one semester, I'm in Doshisha Global Management Master[s Program].
