How do you like Kiyomizu-dera?

Oh, it's beautiful. I wish it was sunnier, but it's still beautiful even when it's cloudy.

Why did you come to Kiyomizu-dera?

To see some--all the older culture of Japan, visit the old capital.

Have you been anywhere else in Japan?

I'm from Atsugi. [Lived there for 6 years.]

What are your future plans in Japan?

Just to travel around Japan before I have to leave here, just make sure I see everything that needs to be seen.

Have your friends or family come to Japan?

No, not yet. But I'm going to try to invite them next year, before I leave.

Are there any similarities between Japan and where you're from?

Not that many, but I think I'd like to bring some of them [some customs] back.
