Fushimi Inari: Experiencing a unique culture

from:Thailand

Updated at: 2015.05.29

Interview

How do you like Fushimi Inari Shrine?

It's fantastic to see how old it is. I have heard about Inari god from manga, and a lot of Japanese culture, like Shinto culture, so visiting here is pretty much all about… if you want to learn about Japanese indulge with nature and fox and everything you have to come here.

Why did you come to Fushimi Inari Shrine?

Because I have them pay for it. But Japan has a lot to exlore and Kyoto is one of the good spots.

Have you been anywhere else in Japan?

Tokyo, Harajuku, and Shinjuku, and I'm planning to go to Osaka this week.

What do you like most about Japan?

Like the sophistication, and how they organize the society. It's fascinating because their culture has improved by cutting off other cultures, leaving tiny influence, so it's kind of unique.
