How do you like Nishiki Market?

We just started. Just took a couple of steps but it smells interesting! And I think we have to taste a lot of foods here. We could find a lot of gifts or presents for people at home here, so that's what I'm hoping.

Why did you come to Nishiki Market?

We are on our way back to our hotel actually, but we saw the bus stop here so we thought why not, let's do it. We definitely wanted to go here then I read it's probably some places here are closed tomorrow so it had to be today. Now before it's closed. Because we are here two days in Kyoto and we go on so we had to visit now. And I think you can get a better insight into the culture and food here than outside. Seems to be more local.

Have you been anywhere else in Japan?

We've been to Hiroshima and Tokyo. We will go to Nara and Nikko. That's our plan.

What made you decide to come to Japan?

Always wanted to. Yeah, and now was the time. We don't regret it. It's a wonderful time.
