How do you like Nishiki Market?

It's fantastic. I love the atmosphere. I love just being able to see everything. It's really interesting.

Why did you come to Nishiki Market?

It was recommended. It was one of the things that was pointed out to us from where we were staying. It was somewhere that, if you wanted to get a feel of what cuisine was and see it right in from of us--we were told to come here.

Have you been anywhere else in Japan?

We flew into Tokyo, spent couple of days in Tokyo. We are here in Kyoto only for a couple of days, back to Tokyo again and back to the U.K. It's going to be a quick week.

What made you decide to come to Japan?

Once in a life time trip, ten-thirty and I thought of somewhere that I've wanted to go and here was the top of my list. I have few friends who come out here and said it was just fantastic place to be in, the people are wonderful, it was a culture that they enjoyed immersing themselves in. I loved the food back home so that was a big deal, too. It's all what they said. It's fantastic being here.
